St. Edward High School Mission Statement
St. Edward Central Catholic High School is a college preparatory, faith-centered Catholic community. Our mission is to nurture the discipleship of Jesus Christ and to promote excellence in education. To further this mission, St. Edward Central Catholic High School enables its students to develop lifelong skills and abilities that will help them become emphatic, responsible and productive citizens.
It has always been the teaching of the Catholic Church that every Catholic child shall have an equal right to be educated in a Catholic school. It has been the expressed policy of the Diocese of Rockford that every qualified child should be entitled to admission to St. Edward without regard to race, national origin, sex, ethnic, or social-economic background.
Even though you might think “I am just a teen – what difference can I make?” Respect Life Club and it’s activities prove that young people DO have a voice, and CAN make a difference for life!
