Freshmen Curriculum Guide

To enroll at St. Edward Central Catholic High School for the 2019-2020 school year, a current 8th grader should complete the following steps:

 1. High School Placement Exam 

Students will take the High School Placement Exam at St. Edward on either one of two available dates

Saturday, December 5, 2020 


Saturday, January 9, 2021

*Saturday, January 23, 2021-Make-up Date!

Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. All students are asked to arrive by 8:15 a.m. at the latest.

Please complete the exam registration form and bring it to the exam, along with the exam fee of $15. There is no need to pre-register for the exam.  The student should bring two #2 pencils.  Calculators will not be allowed.

Placement Exam Registration Form The placement exam registration form includes a Release of Records authorizing St. Edward High School to obtain a student’s records from their elementary school. Once obtained, these records will be put with the scores from the student’s placement exam to be reviewed at the student’s registration appointment in February. All incoming freshmen must take the placement test in order to register for courses.

  2. Registration

Families will attend registration where they will meet with a faculty member to receive the student’s high school placement test scores and select courses for the student’s freshman year.  A registration fee will be due at this time.
