St. Edward Central Catholic High School is a college preparatory, Catholic school in the Diocese of Rockford, Illinois. The school has a 75-year history of faith-based education and academic excellence. St. Edward is the central Catholic high school for the Elgin Deanery of schools, which includes seven Catholic elementary schools located in Elgin, Dundee, Hampshire, and St. Charles. The school is supported by the ten parishes of the Elgin Deanery. St. Edward is accredited by AdvancED, a member of the NCEA, and recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education.
