Admission Policies

It has always been the teaching of the Catholic Church that every Catholic child shall have an equal right to be educated in a Catholic school. It has been the expressed policy of the Diocese of Rockford that every qualified child should be entitled to admission to St. Edward without regard to race, national origin, sex, ethnic, or social-economic background.

Students will be admitted whose academic, attendance and behavior records are in good standing. These records may be reviewed with the students’ elementary school principal/teacher for incoming freshmen or the previous secondary school for transfer students.
